Woodworking Basics: Quilt Rack

Build a pine quilt rack

Students in this course will make a pine quilt rack using simple hand tools and few basic power tools. While making this classic stand, students will develop their woodworking skills, build confidence in using basic tools, and gain practical experience working in the woodshop.

This course will include instruction in reading and understanding furniture plans, an overview of lumber selection and material preparation, and procedures for working safely with basic tools.
