Homestead Woodworking: Beehive

Make a traditional Langstroth style beehive.

Learn more about making your own beekeeping equipment. Students in this course will develop their woodworking skills, while building a traditional Langstroth style beehive using both hand tools and woodworking machinery.

Topics covered in this course include, an overview of beehive design and beekeeping equipment, resources for getting started in beekeeping, joinery techniques used in making beehives, as well as instruction in working safely with woodworking tools and machinery.

All tools and materials provided. Join us for this workshop, and build a beehive for your homestead!
