Hand Tool Woodworking: Dovetailed Chest

Learn to make a traditional dovetailed chest.

Learn more about traditional hand tools while making a dovetailed chest. In this course, you will develop your woodworking skills and gain practical experience working with traditional tools, such as wooden planes, chisels and hand saws.

This course will include instruction in working safely with hand tools, flattening rough sawn boards, cutting and fitting shiplap and hand-cut dovetail joints, installing chest hinges and hardware, as well as project planning and procedures.

All tools and materials provided. Join us for this workshop, and build your own dovetailed chest!
