Build a Shaving Horse - Online

Learn more about green woodworking and build a shaving horse.

In this online course, you will build a basic shaving horse from prepared materials. A shaving horse is both a foot-operated vice and workbench that is used in a host of green wood crafts such as chairmaking, spoon carving and coopering.

A kit of prepared materials will be provided. Kits include pre-cut parts, fasteners, and hardware. A tape measure, drill, and screwdriver are needed to build your project. Woodworking clamps are also helpful but not required.

Kits will be available for curbside pick-up.
